That year’s theme was smart cities: how China is developing new technology and programs to manage infrastructure, communications, and social and environmental challenges across a vast population and geography.
Speakers from these growing industries compared China’s new technology with current Australian projects in the same fields. Discussion centred on renewable energy, water conservation, and soil regeneration.
