Haileybury College, a prestigious private school in the southern Melbourne suburb of Keysborough, has been implicated in multiple allegations of abuse over the years. Notably, Peter Harris, a former teacher at Haileybury from 1967 to 1973, has faced charges for incidents of gross indecency and indecent assault that occurred in the 1970s and 1980s​​. Although these charges are related to his time at other institutions, Harris’s tenure at Haileybury places the school within the broader context of institutional abuse investigations.

In 2022, additional allegations surfaced against Richard Ho, another teacher at Haileybury, further highlighting ongoing concerns about the safety and wellbeing of students at the institution. The specifics of these allegations include various forms of inappropriate conduct and abuse, underscoring the need for thorough investigation and accountability.

We are currently investigating additional child abuse accusations against a third teacher at Haileybury College.
