Seeking Witnesses from St Joseph’s School and Our Lady of the Rosary (1992-1995)
We are reaching out to the community for any information regarding the staff and clergy at St Joseph’s School in Taree and the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church between approximately 1992 and 1995. This includes any recollections or experiences involving Father Vince Ryan or Father Mason during this period.
Purpose:
To gather testimonies and evidence that may assist in our client’s claim for historical sexual abuse.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Former students and staff of St Joseph’s School in Taree.
- Former parishioners of Our Lady Rosary Catholic Church
- Anyone who recalls Father Vince Ryan or Father Mason serving at or visiting Our Lady Rosary Catholic Church.
Background Information:
- Father Vince Ryan: Known for his involvement in multiple abuse cases, Ryan was convicted of sexually abusing 37 children over several decades. He was first charged in October 1995.
- Father Mason: Any specific details or recollections about Father Mason during the same period are crucial to our investigation.
