Values

I have strong social justice values and uphold myself to the highest standards of integrity. I believe that lawyers have the ability to amplify the voices of those who are not heard. Throughout my university degrees and career, I have focused on social justice and using my skills to assist others. I have over five years of experience working with survivors of child sexual abuse. I understand that when done correctly, a civil matter can result in not only monetary compensation but result in my client’s empowerment.  I believe in ensuring my clients are fully informed so that I give them the power to choose the direction of a matter.

Global

I migrated to Australia from South Africa with my parents.  I have also had the privilege of travelling in South-East Asia, Europe and Africa. Growing up in a migrant family, I understand cross-cultural difficulties, and my travels have further developed this understanding. I have experience representing clients from a variety of backgrounds, including representing indigenous Australians.
