Correction notice: David William James article, OSHC Neutral Bay reference
Koffels published on its website an article on the 1st of August 2025 about David William James, who was charged with child sexual abuse offences. That article asserted that he had worked via an agency and casual shifts at 58 different centres between 2018 and 2024. The article then referred to a sub-list of 52 centres published by authorities in which there was no evidence of offending. In the list of 52 centres the article referred to: OSHC – Neutral Bay”.
We believe that the reference to this centre on this list was in error.
Koffels is not aware of any evidence, public or held privately, that would support the assertion that David William James ever worked, directly or indirectly, at Neutral Bay Public School OSCH.
