Haileybury College, a prestigious private school in the southern Melbourne suburb of Keysborough, has been implicated in multiple allegations of abuse over the years. Notably, Peter Harris, a former teacher at Haileybury from 1967 to 1973, has faced charges for incidents of gross indecency and indecent assault that occurred in the 1970s and 1980s. Although these charges are related to his time at other institutions, Harris’s tenure at Haileybury places the school within the broader context of institutional abuse investigations.
In 2022, additional allegations surfaced against Richard Ho, another teacher at Haileybury, further highlighting ongoing concerns about the safety and wellbeing of students at the institution. The specifics of these allegations include various forms of inappropriate conduct and abuse, underscoring the need for thorough investigation and accountability.
We are currently investigating additional child abuse accusations against a third teacher at Haileybury College.

I would like to help if I am able.
I did not attend Haileybury College, but I was a former student at Billanook College, Mooroolbark (founded by Dr Peter Harris in 1980). His predatory behaviour towards many young boys (students) at Billanook College was very well known by most (students, parents and teachers) who were not living under a rock. He groomed and dated many of his young male students and there is a lot of proof and witnesses who would confirm this. Two of the boys he dated (and had sexual relationships with) committed suicide. One of them hung himself in Peter Harris’s garage. Peter was a family friend and took a liking to my brother. He had a good relationship with him (nothing inappropriate) and my brother received a lot of preferential treatment and benefits from Peter. I was very much in the know of Peter Harris’s behaviours through my brother. I have also spoken to a lot of past students who know first hand of his indecent behaviours with various young male students. I hope this information can help your client get the justice he deserves.
