Witnesses Sought: Christian Brothers College Kalgoorlie — Brother Martin (O’Loghlen)

We act for a client who alleges they were sexually abused by Brother Martin (O’Loghlen) while a student at Christian Brothers College, Kalgoorlie (historically known as St Patrick’s Christian Brothers College Kalgoorlie).

We are seeking information from anyone who may have known or encountered Brother Martin (O’Loghlen). He was a Christian Brother who worked at schools in New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria. Even small recollections — such as staff lists, class photos, details of where he lived, who he worked with, or what was said at the time — can help build a clearer picture and support other Survivors.

Why your information matters

Note on name/spelling: Historical references sometimes record the surname as O’Loghlen / O’Loughlin. If you remember a Brother “Martin” or “Mark” with either spelling at Kalgoorlie or other Christian Brothers schools, that information may still be relevant.
