Adrian Nisbett – Child Abuse at Knox Grammar – A Call For Witnesses
Knox Grammar School is a prestigious independent boys’ school located on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. Its reputation was marred by a paedophile ring exposed by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Sexual Abuse in 2015. Regrettably, the damage caused to the victims was not resolved by the exposure.
Koffels Solicitors & Barristers are currently acting for numerous victims of Adrian Nisbett, with allegations of sexual abuse spanning a period between 1976 and 2002.
Adrian Nisbett was employed at Knox Grammar School between 1971 and 2004 in various roles, including as a teacher, boarding house Master, counsellor & Year Master.
Dr Patterson was the Headmaster between 1969 and 1998. Dr Patterson gave a statement to NSW Police indicating that contemporaneous complaints of institutional child sexual abuse by Adrian Nisbett had mysteriously “disappeared”. Nisbett also ‘disappeared’, with his liquidated assets, to South Africa, avoiding a default judgment for damages secondary to sexual abuse at Knox occurring in 1976. Sadly, the devastation caused by Nisbett is continuing and very real – it has not disappeared.
Koffels Solicitors is issuing a call-out for witnesses, including former students and teachers, further to allegations of child sexual abuse occurring at Knox Grammar School between 1971 and 2004.
