PAUL CREED
Excellence, Integrity and Tenacity
I am committed to listening to my client’s experiences of abuse in a way that minimises any re-traumatisation from recounting the harm that has been inflicted upon them by individuals or institutions that are often powerful and well-resourced.
I see it as my mission to convey my clients’ account of abuse in a way that will be carried effectively by the legal process as well as to clearly explain to my clients the procedural and evidentiary requirements of law.
A practitioner in this area must effectively deal with incomprehension on the side of those determining claims who have never suffered abuse themselves, as well as on the part of the victims of abuse who have never prosecuted a claim through the legal system.
I gain great satisfaction in helping those who have found themselves in correctional centres, hospitals or in desperate circumstances because of the abuse they have suffered in navigating their way to a successful outcome that improves their life through financial compensation as well as closure from an acknowledgment of the wrong they have suffered.
Experience
I have over 25 years’ experience in personal injury law and have practised specifically in institutional abuse civil proceedings as well as proceedings against individual perpetrators of abuse for over 5 years.
