I enjoy collaborating with clients and finding practical solutions to their legal problems.  One of the most rewarding parts of private practice is helping clients achieve their desired outcomes through persistence, thoroughness and an unwavering commitment to the client.  Because the legal system is built on conflict, procedural hurdles and high stakes, a lawyer cannot rely on intellect alone—they often win through sheer persistence and a refusal to back down.

Experience

I have worked in private practice and in-house for over 40 years.  My practice is commercial law, and my work includes drafting and negotiating contracts and advising on a wide range of commercial issues.  My clients range from start-ups to publicly listed companies and global multinationals.  I have extensive experience acting for technology companies and advising on intellectual property and technology law issues in Australia and across the Asia Pacific region.  I provide advice on employment law, wills and estates and property law, including conveyancing.

Juris Doctor (Law Degree) from the University of California, Berkeley – School of Law

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Hons) from the University of California, San Diego
