With over 20 years of experience,  Carla has worked in multiple jurisdictions with policymakers, funders, the private sector, civil society and philanthropic initiatives addressing global economies and social changes.

Carla has had an extensive international career including;  Assistant General Counsel and Executive Board Member for Sodexo, UK;  Executive Director for Pearl Initiative, Dubai; Country Director for the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, Bahrain, and carried out a pro-bono position as Country Director for the Children’s Legal Centre, Tajikistan.

Appreciating the reality and pressures of running a business is critical to providing advice that is practical and effective.  Throughout my career, I have advised and worked for the private sector, including as Assistant General Counsel for a multi-national FMCG company, and enjoy being able to apply my experience to provide the advice and guidance that is specific to our client’s needs and generates real value.

GLOBAL

I’ve worked in legal and leadership positions in Asia, the Middle East and Europe with the private sector, government and civil society organisations.  I have seen how different regulatory and cultural environments influence global business and the benefits of bringing people with diverse perspectives together to solve challenges and use the cross-border experience to optimise ways of working and ultimately maximise business opportunities.
